Great for a time killer. Its fun, but after like 30min you wanna do something else. Occasional crash on OS4.

I love this app !!! I would love if they have a multiplayer mode ( wi-fi...)

Tried different strategies, but this one is my personal favorite so far. Spent hours and hours… still surprised how good it is. The difficulty progression is very well adjusted and keeps you glued to the game. It is one of those “easy to learn – hard to master”. You can take it seriously or as a very light “time-burner”. Definitely recommended.

I give this 2 stars tops because it is just not a 3 star game! If i could give it a 2.5 I would. Do the developers ever actually play this game? I could list many complaints about this game, game AI unbalanced, tree growth completely thrown off, AI teams working in tandem, and map set up at higher levels that has AI teams with spearman and 20+ territories after only one round. Have not defeated an O stage yet and assume I never will. I like a challenge but give me a break, spearman on round one to deal with and then being surrounded by castles from different teams by round two or three is just ridiculous. All of the 5 star reviews for this apps rating and have come from and have been inflated by the developers and their friends. The honest reviews are glaringly apparent. An okay time waster, but not worth the price asked, I would be hard pressed to say it is even worth a dollar. Wait until it lands randomly on free app day, otherwise forget it.

I like that there are lots of levels and that they are perfect length to last about a bus ride. Dont want to play more than one level at once but definetly good. I would buy it but I got it for free so I dont need to. Smooth gameplay and the updates just keep comeing to make it better. Lots like a board game so boring after one level in same few hours. The increasing dificulty definetly makes it more interesting.

This game (apparently a classic, though I never knew it on PCs) is a very clever and addictive strategy game. Dont let the name and graphics confuse you -- this is not really a warfare game in any but the most abstract sense. It is quite a bit like those classic extremely abstract military games, chess and go (and Stratego and others modern versions -- more cerebral than Risk and the like). The gameplay gets a bit repetitive, but what should I expect having played it for hundreds of hours (really!). And if I had to pay $10 to renew my subscription now I would do it without hesitation, just to try to win those last few levels at the highest difficulty. (But there are plenty of easier levels for those who want to wade in.) Not for those who only like action games or really simply strategy, but if you like map-based abstract strategy games, this is the best I have discovered in many years.

Great remake of the old Windows game. Just as fun and addictive. Could use an improved (in-game) UI, randomized levels, multiplayer (even local MP would be good), updated retina display graphics.

If only there were a few more levels or a level editor like on the PC version

Got it when it was free and not sure if I would pay full price but I finally finished the last level and fully enjoyed the game.

Great strategy game, I play it all the time. Could use more aesthetically pleasing UI and smoother controls but otherwise, a very polished game. An even smarter AI and a random island generator would be a great addition.

Ive had this game about 6 months and its the one I still play every day. I cant explain it, but its just so addictive. Its simple but so fun. I have it in my iPad and also on my iPhone.

Ive played many iPhone games but this is one I keep coming back to even after more than a year

This game is great, with levels suitable for casual players and those who just find themselves addicted (me). I would recommend it to anyone, great to kill time with. I find myself coming back to this game time and time again, just trying to knock off those last couple R levels.

Having played the classic game years ago, I was pleasantly surprised to find it on the app store. Behind the simple graphics is a great strategy game that will have you thoroughly addicted and offer much more value than the majority of game apps out there.

Great game, so much replayability. Really enjoy the option to switch colour schemes, my only request for improvement for this game would be the option to select YOUR colour, instead of always having to be red!

Just finished beating kufa after countless attempts in the K maps, I have on every map at least once in K. Great game have spent hours playing it.

I am disappointed I update to the new version. Not a fun game anymore. I hate the new graphics. I thought it would have an original theme but not there. Unfortunately this update ruined a fun game.

I agree with others.... Can you add the option of the old display.... I cant play this now.... Thanks
