Great game

Love the game, a bit of strategy but casual. Also there was a bug in 6s that got fix pretty fast!

Challenging and addicting!!!!

A year later, I still play this game.. by far the most challenging iphone game and most fun to date. This is a game I play before bed, waiting to pick the kids up at school, Ive even caught myself playing it while sitting at my PC. Give yourself a few games to get used to the play style and strategy, but prepare to be addicted!

The Best

This is my favorite game on my phone. It is deceptively simplistic while holding true to the concepts of feudalism in medieval Europe. I first downloaded the "lite" version and was quickly swept up - and soon purchased the full version with full confidence. It has not disappointed.

Must have

I owned this game 10 years ago on a PC. Now, I am mac based. So I was excited to see this available for iPad. Its An amazing strategy game. Still wish there was an option for custom maps. There is nothing wrong with the higher levels. You have to kill the home base to kill the enemies money. You can split the enemy in half but there home base will keep the remaining money. It is a must have game.

Good game, not so great packaging

Ive been playing the game for about 2 years (I played the lite version for the first 1.5 because I hate spending money), & Im becoming increasingly frustrated with this purchase. There arent bugs so much as things that bug me after having purchased the game. I really enjoy playing the game (download Slay Lite first if you havent played it before), but there are so many small quirks to the paid version I can only give it 2 stars ⭐️⭐️. Heres why: 1. The game itself hasnt been modified or updated for 20 years & the price is $4.99. Im not complaining about that so much except for Id rather have about $3.99 of that back for what I got. 2. There are lots of levels, but then the creator goes & makes "additional levels" available for an additional fee. When I purchased the game I thought I was getting all of the levels, including the ones shaped like certain nouns (people, places, things or ideas). These additional levels cost a whopping $0.99/26 or a "discounted" $10 for all 18 pages. 3. As far as I know, the in-app purchase doesnt act like the "complete my album" option in iTunes , so even if you wanted to buy 1 page of 26 maps, you couldnt do so without having to consider paying $10 now versus $18 later. Its like trying to scam the people who really like the game because so few do play and like it but when they do he needs every single penny to survive financially (note: this is not how to win fans of the game) 4. People who purchase the app should be able to make & store their own custom levels. Again, especially for the price, this needs to happen. 5. Online turn-based games need to happen. It would put the game in the category of others like Words With Friends where you can move at your own pace but still get good, genuine competition instead of only a local pass & play as it is now 6. Even the pass & play is wonky. "Multiplayer" doesnt used the same starting map as solo but its not the same for 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 players- from what I can tell the maps are all different with different numbers of players on each map. 7. Allow custom color schemes for any level & be able to store up to 10 of them. Currently Im stuck with no great options and because Im color-deficient I choose a them (rainbow) that gives me a bold color (red). Im sure there are more but hopefully this gives any potential buyers some insight into whether or not this game with all left these quirks are worth buying (at the moment I would say I wish I had my money back) & also gives the developer knowledge of what needs to change about the app.

Wonderful game!

This game has been around a long time and continues to be playable and enjoyable to me. Its an addicting, absorbing and yet simple game... Totally recommend it...I have been playing over 10 years and I havent been able to beat all the games yet....

Worth every penny!

I had this on pocket pc and I dont feel bad having to buy it again. Not liking having to buy the rest of the maps but it supports a great dev.

Outstanding Game

Simple rules and execution but requires a keen sense of planning and strategy. I have wasted hours and hours on this game
